Purnea Semen Station, Purnea is a unit of Bihar Livestock Development Agency under Department of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Resources, Government of Bihar. Purnea Semen Station has been set up on 85 acres land at outskirts of Purnea town (about 3 km away) of north east Bihar on NH 31 and quarantine station of 5 acres land at Baniyapatti, K Nagar, Purnea, with a capacity of 24 bulls. Additionally, a separate isolation and rearing units are also maintained away from main bull sheds.
